Declaration of Preference Dividends
The following half-yearly preference dividends have been declared, payable to
shareholders on Tuesday, 27 December 2005.

The last date to trade "cum" the dividends in order to participate in the
dividends will be Thursday, 15 December 2005. The preference shares of the
company will commence trading "ex" the dividends from the commencement of
business on Monday, 19 December 2005 and the record date will be Friday, 23
December 2005.
No dematerialisation or rematerialisation of share certificates may take place
between Monday, 19 December 2005 and Friday, 23 December 2005, both days
inclusive.
