DIVIDEND DISTRIBUTION ANNOUNCEMENT IN RELATION TO THE ASA SHARE INSTALMENT
Notice is hereby given of the dividend amount payable for ABSA GROUP LTD and
that as a result of the dividend declaration relating to ABSA GROUP LTD (ASA)
the Trustees of the ASA Share Instalment have declared a dividend amount of
160.00 cents per share instalment that is payable on Tuesday 27 December 2005.
The last day to trade cum dividend is Thursday, 15 December 2005. The share
instalment will commence trading ex dividend from Monday, 19 December 2005 and
the record date will be Friday, 23 December 2005.
