SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION FOR THE INTERIM RESULTS OF ALEXANDER FORBES LIMITED
Alexander Forbes Limited issued its interim results for the six months ended 30
September 2005 on Monday, 14 November 2005. This included a segmental profit
analysis prepared in accordance with the accounting policies applied by the
group following the adoption of the new International Financial Reporting
Standards (IFRS) with comparative figures for the prior interim period restated
accordingly. During the presentation of the group"s results, a number of
requests were received for a restated segmental profit analysis for the full
previous financial year ended 31 March 2005. This is set out below:
