DECLARED DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT ON REMGRO LIMITED ENHANCED DIVIDEND SECURITIES -
("REMIDB")
With reference to the interim dividend announcement, the Directors of Remgro
Limited have declared an interim dividend of 133 cents per ordinary share
payable on Monday, 16 January 2006 to ordinary shareholders recorded in the
books of the company at the close of business on Friday, 13 January 2006.
Accordingly, the warrant holders of the Enhanced Dividend Securities, REMIDB,
will receive a Remgro Limited interim dividend of 133 cents per security on
Monday, 16 January 2006, in terms of the Cession clause incorporated in the
Supplement between the holders and Investec Bank Limited. The last day to
trade ("cum" the dividend) in order to participate in the dividend will be
Friday, 6 January 2006.
REMIDB Enhanced Dividend Securities will commence trading "ex" the dividend from
the commencement of business on Monday, 9 January 2006, and the record date will
be Friday, 13 January 2006.
