POSTPONEMENT OF GENERAL MEETING
Shareholders of Samrand Development Holdings are advised that at the General
Meeting of the company which was held at 11:30 on Tuesday, 13 December 2005, it
was resolved to postpone the meeting.
Accordingly the meeting will now be held at 11:30 on Thursday, 29 December 2005,
at the offices of Van Der Merwe Du Toit Inc., Brooklyn Place, cnr Dey and
Bronkhorst Streets, Brooklyn, Pretoria, 0001.
All forms of proxy submitted timeously for the meeting which was supposed to be
held at 11:30 on 22 November 2005, and for the meeting which was supposed to be
held at 11:30 on 13 December 2005, shall still be valid for the meeting to be
held on 29 December 2005. Those shareholders who did not submit forms of proxy
and still wish to do so, must ensure that these are received by the transfer
secretaries, Computershare Investor Services (Pty) Limited, by no later than
11:30 on Wednesday, 28 December 2005. In addition, there will be a pre-
registration of shareholders at 11:00 on Thursday, 29 December 2005, where
shareholders wishing to attend the meeting to be held at 11:30 shall only be
permitted to do so once they have satisfied the company"s transfer secretaries
and attorneys that said shareholders are indeed entitled to attend such meeting.
