Application has been made to the Financial Services Authority and London Stock
Exchange plc for a total of 16,500,000 Ordinary shares of 50p each in Liberty
International PLC ("new shares") to be admitted to the Official List. It is
expected that permission to admit the new shares will be granted on 21 December
2005 and that dealings will commence 22 December 2005.
The new shares are being reserved under a block listing and will be issued on
conversion of the 3.95% Convertible Bonds due 30/09/2010
When issued, the new shares will rank pari passu with the existing Ordinary
shares.
