In compliance with rule 3.63 of the JSE Listings Requirements, Fredswem
Investments (Pty) Limited ("Fredswem") purchased 38 000 Octodec linked units on
03 January 2006 at a price of 910 cents per linked unit, with a total value of
R345 800.00. Octodec"s directors, Sharon Wapnick and Jeffrey Wapnick indirectly
each hold one third of the share capital in Fredswem. Clearance to deal was
received in terms of paragraph 3.66 of the JSE Listings Requirements.
