HOLDING IN COMPANY
Lonrho Africa was notified today, in accordance with sections 198-202 of the
Companies Act 1985, that on 5 January 2006 Nakterhuset AB sold 50,000 ordinary
shares of 20 pence each ("Shares") in the share capital of the Company.
Following this transaction, Nakterhuset AB is now interested in a total of
18,905,000 ordinary Shares, representing approximately 12.0 per cent of the
Company"s issued share capital.
