Trading Statement for the six months ended 31 December 2005
City Lodge is pleased to announce that the fully diluted headline and basic
earnings per share for the six months ended 31 December 2005, are anticipated to
be between 20% and 30% higher than in the same six month period in the previous
year.
This projection has been prepared using accounting policies consistent with
those used in the preparation of the results for the year ended 30 June 2005,
whereas the interim results for the six months ended 31 December 2005, to be
published on or about 17 February 2006, will be prepared in accordance with
International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). The adoption of IFRS is not
expected to have a material effect on the above percentages.
This financial information has not been reviewed or reported on by the group"s
auditors.
