ANNOUNCEMENT                                                                    
I will retire as Managing Director of Metair at the end of February 2006 after  
21 years in that position. However, I have been appointed as Non Executive      
Chairman of the Board of Metair replacing Mrs Elizabeth Bradley who will remain 
a member of the Metair Board.                                                   
We are pleased to announce that Mr T. Loock (Theo) will be joining Metair as    
Managing Director with effect from 1st February 2006. Theo was previously a     
Divisional Director of Trident Steel.
