CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The company"s board of directors, consisting of six executive directors and four
non-executive directors, does not fully comply with the recommendation of the
King Report on Corporate Governance in South Africa ("King II") in that there is
not a majority of non-executive directors.
Accordingly, G Bradley, V Hardy and AA Hodgkinson, all of whom will remain in
the employ of the company in executive capacities, will resign from the board
with effect from today. This results in the board comprising of four non-
executive directors and three executive directors, which complies with the King
II recommendation.
