TRADING STATEMENT
Shareholders are advised that the Company"s headline earnings per share for the
six month period ended 31 December 2005 are expected to be between 20% and 25%
higher than the headline earnings per share for the comparative period ended 31
December 2004. Earnings per share are expected to be between 22% and 27% higher
than the comparative period. In compliance with the Listing Requirements of the
JSE Limited, the financial results of the Company for the six months ended 31
December 2005 will be reported for the first time in accordance with
International Financial Reporting Standards ("IFRS") and the results for the
prior period will be restated on the same basis.
The forecast earnings have not been reviewed by the Company"s auditors. It is
anticipated that the interim results for the six months ended 31 December 2005
will be released on or about 23 February 2006.
