DECLARED FINAL DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT ON ANGLOGOLD ASHANTI LIMITED ENHANCED
DIVIDEND SECURITIES - ("ANGIDB")
With reference to the final dividend announcement, the Directors of AngloGold
Ashanti Limited have declared a final dividend of 62 cents per ordinary share
payable on Friday, 10 March 2006 to ordinary shareholders recorded in the books
of the company at the close of business on Friday, 3 March 2006.
Accordingly, the warrant holders of the Enhanced Dividend Securities, ANGIDB,
will receive an AngloGold Ashanti Limited final dividend of 62 cents per
security on Friday, 10 March 2006 in terms of the Cession clause incorporated in
the Supplement between the holders and Investec Bank Limited. The last day to
trade ("cum" the dividend) in order to participate in the dividend will be
Thursday, 23 February 2006.
ANGIDB Enhanced Dividend Securities will commence trading "ex" the dividend from
the commencement of business on Friday, 24 February 2006, and the record date
will be Friday, 3 March 2006.
