APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
In accordance with paragraph 3.59(a) of the Listings Requirements of JSE
Limited, Edcon has pleasure in announcing the appointment by its board of Mr
Herman Mashaba as an independent non-executive director with effect from 14
March 2006.
