VOLUNTARY TRADING STATEMENT
SA Eagle is currently finalising its results for the year ended 31 December
2005, which should be released on SENS on 23 February 2006. In this regard,
shareholders are advised that earnings per share are likely to be fifteen to
twenty percent (15% - 20%) higher, and headline earnings per share (which
exclude realised gains on equities) are likely to be five to fifteen percent (5%
- 15%) lower than the corresponding reporting period of the previous year.
The forecast financial information on which this trading statement is based has
not been reviewed and reported on by the Company"s auditors.
