DECLARED DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT ON IMPALA PLATINUM HOLDINGS LIMITED ENHANCED
DIVIDEND SECURITIES - ("IMPIDB")
With reference to the dividend announcement, the Directors of Impala Platinum
Holdings Limited have declared an interim ordinary dividend of 1000 cents per
ordinary share and a special dividend of 5500 cents per share payable
simultaneously on Monday, 13 March 2006 to ordinary shareholders recorded in the
books of the company at the close of business on Friday, 10 March 2006.
Accordingly, the warrant holders of the Enhanced Dividend Securities, IMPIDB,
will receive an Impala Platinum Holdings Limited dividend of 1000 cents per
security and a special dividend of 5500 cents per security payable
simultaneously on Monday, 13 March 2006 in terms of the Cession clause
incorporated in the Supplement between the holders and Investec Bank Limited.
The last day to trade ("cum" the dividend) in order to participate in the
dividends will be Friday, 3 March 2006.
IMPIDB Enhanced Dividend Securities will commence trading "ex" the dividends
from the commencement of business on Monday, 6 March 2006, and the record date
will be Friday, 10 March 2006.
