Progress report on exploration programme and issue of permits
The board of Miranda is pleased to inform shareholders that the following
application for a prospecting right in terms of Section 17 of the Mineral and
Petroleum Resources Development Act, 2002 (Act 28 of 2002) was successful:
* Lowveld gold project - the group has been granted the right to prospect for
gold ore on the farm Burlington 217 KU (3,404 hectares) in the Letaba District.
A SENS announcement dated 14 February 2006 confirmed the granting of a
prospecting right for gold ore on an adjacent farm, Islington. The two farms
represent a combined 6 300 hectares of the company"s Lowveld gold project
covering five farms and 16 900 hectares.
