TRADING STATEMENT
The directors are reasonably certain that earnings and headline earnings per
share for the year ended 31 December 2005 are expected to be between 20% and 25%
higher than earnings and headline earnings per share for the year ended 31
December 2004.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been
reviewed or reported on by the company"s auditors.
Shareholders should note that for the first time, in compliance with the JSE
Listings Requirements, the financial results of Iliad will be prepared in
accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards ("IFRS"). The
results for the year ended 31 December 2005 are expected to be published on or
about 6 March 2006.
