ADOPTION OF DISTRIBUTION PER LINKED UNIT AS THE FINANCIAL RESULTS MEASURE AND
TRADING UPDATE
Octodec linked unit holders are advised, that in terms of paragraph 3.4(b)(v) of
the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, Octodec will be adopting distribution per
linked unit (being a proxy for cash flow per linked unit) as the financial
results measure for trading statement purposes, for reporting periods commencing
on 1 September 2005.
Accordingly, linked unit holders are advised that the distribution per linked
unit for the six months ended 28 February 2006 are expected to be between 25%
and 35% higher than those of the prior comparative period. This trading update
statement has not been reviewed and/or reported on by the companys auditors.
The reviewed results for the six months ended 28 February 2006 are expected to
be released on or about 18 April 2006.
