TRADING STATEMENT
In compliance with the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, shareholders are
advised that Sabvest anticipates the following changes in key financial
indicators for the year ended 31 December 2005:
Headline earnings per share 72,4c + 40%
Earnings per share 69,8c + 36%
Dividends per share 6,0c + 100%
Intrinsic value* per share 579,0c + 30%
(* Intrinsic value per share is calculated as net asset value per share
adjusted for directors" valuation of investments in associates.)
These estimates have not been audited or reviewed by the company"s auditors.
Reviewed results are expected to be published at the end of March 2006.
The delay in publishing results this year has been occasioned by the individual
timetables of Sabvest"s unlisted associates for the preparation of their IFRS
compliant financial statements.
