CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT IN RELATION TO THE PROPOSED CREATION OF C CLASS LINKED
UNITS
ApexHi linked unitholders are referred to the announcement dated 8 February 2006
in relation to the proposed creation of C class linked units ("C units").
In discussion with various parties and in light of the finalisation of the
Property Sector Transformation Charter ApexHi has recognised that the proposed
creation of the C units offers an opportunity to facilitate the introduction of
meaningful black economic empowerment into ApexHi. This may however involve the
rights and characteristics of the new C units being different from the rights
and characteristics set out in the previous announcement.
ApexHi is currently investigating this opportunity and will publish a more
detailed announcement (including a timetable for the creation of the C units) in
due course. Linked unitholders are advised to exercise caution in their trading
in ApexHi linked units until such time as the more detailed announcement is
made.
