GRANT OF OPTIONS
Further to the receipt of shareholder approval at the extraordinary general
meeting of the Company held on 24 February 2006 and the publication yesterday of
Lonrho Africa"s results for its year ended 30 September 2005, the Board of the
Company announces that yesterday the Company granted options over, in aggregate,
1,500,000 ordinary shares of 1p each in the share capital of the Company
("Shares") to Michael Wilson and Richard Wilkinson.
