DEALING IN SECURITIES BY A DIRECTOR
In compliance with paragraph 3.63 of the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited
("the Listings Requirements") we hereby advise that for financial planning
purposes Mr MJ Prinsloo has sold shares pursuant to the exercise of options
which has been issued to him. Details of these transactions are set out below:

Vesting Periods: A third of the total share option grant vests
upon the second anniversary of the grant date
and a further third of the total option grant

Nature of Interest : Directly beneficial
In terms of paragraph 3.66 of the Listings requirements prior clearance for Mr
MJ Prinsloo to deal in the above securities has been obtained from the Chairman
of the Board of GFI Mining South Africa (Pty) Limited, a major subsidiary
company of Gold Fields Limited.
