HOLDING IN COMPANY
Lonrho Africa was notified yesterday, in accordance with Section 198 of the
Companies Act 1985, as amended by Section 134 of the Companies Act 1989, that
following the sale of 1,100,000 ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the share
capital of the Company ("Shares"), on 25 April 2006 North Atlantic Value LLP as
discretionary manager was interested in 6,930,000 Shares representing
approximately 4.4 per cent. of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company.
This includes a holding of 2,645,161 Shares by Oryx International Growth Fund
Limited, which is listed on the London Stock Exchange, and managed by North
Atlantic Value LLP.
