Change to the board of directors
In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Limited"s Listings Requirements,
Altron shareholders are advised that Mr Douglas Ramaphosa has been appointed as
an alternate director to Dr Harold Serebro, senior executive director of Altron,
with effect from 1 May 2006. Furthermore, Mr Ramaphosa has been appointed to the
position of Group Executive: Corporate Affairs, reporting directly to Mr Robert
Venter, the Altron chief executive.
