FTSE/JSE Africa Index Series

Further to the March quarterly index review released on Wednesday 8 March,
please be advised that it has been necessary to recalculate the two FTSE/JSE
property Indices namely, the FTSE/JSE Property Unit Trust (J255) and the
FTSE/JSE Property Loan Stock Index (J256) for the period 20th of March 2006 to
Friday 5th of May 2006:
This is necessary due to Hospitality Property A and Hospitality Property B being
included in the FTSE/JSE Property Unit Trust Index in error. These two stocks
should in fact be constituents of the FTSE/JSE Property Loan Stock Index.

Loan Stocks (J256) Africa, ZAE000076790) will be
added to the index with a shares
in issue figure of 36,174,723 and
an investability weighting of 75%.
FTSE/JSE Africa Property Hospitality Property Fund A will 20 March 2006
Unit Trusts (J255) be deleted from this index.
FTSE/JSE Africa Property Hospitality Property Fund B (South 20 March 2006
Loan Stocks (J256) Africa, ZAE000076808) will be
added to the index with a shares
in issue figure of 36,174,723 and
an investability weighting of
100%.
FTSE/JSE Africa Property Hospitality Property Fund B will 20 March 2006
Unit Trusts (J255) be deleted from this index.
Historical Valuation files will be availed for the period 20 March to 5 May
2006.
