CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE
Limited, notice is hereby given of the following changes to the board of
directors of Calulo:
After the Shareholders meeting held in Sandton this morning to approve a second
tranche of property acquisitions the Board of Calulo announced that:-
Mr Moses (Moss) Mashishi and Ms Tidimalo (Tidi) Khobane have been elected to the
Board as non executive directors. Moss and Tidi are also directors of Matemeku
Property Acquisitions 104 Pty Limited, Calulo"s second major BEE shareholder.
This follows the announcement earlier in the year whereby Matemeku acquired 28%
of Calulo, which together with Calulo Investments" stake, brings the total BEE
shareholding in the Fund to over 50%. Both of these senior executives bring a
wealth of investment experience and property knowledge to the Fund.
It was also announced that Nyameka Madikizela has resigned her position as Chief
Operating Officer, (COO) and executive director of Calulo effective 1 May to
focus on the property development interests of Calulo Properties Pty Limited.
Nyameka will however, remain on the Board of Calulo in a non executive capacity.
Mr David Goss joined Calulo from RMB Properties Pty Limited on 16 April 2006 and
has assumed the role of Chief Financial Officer and as an executive Director of
Calulo Asset Management Pty Limited.
Mr Mkhuseli Faku, previously acting Chairman of the Board has now been confirmed
in the position of Chairman.
