Result of AGM
At the 7th Annual General Meeting of the Company held on 9 May 2006 resolutions
1 to 8 inclusive and resolution 11 were duly passed.
Resolutions 9 and 10 seek a renewal of the Directors" authorities for the
allotment of shares in line with best practice in the United Kingdom. United
Kingdom practice differs from the practice of companies listed on the JSE
Limited and as such the Directors consider it appropriate to discuss these
resolutions further with the Company"s major South African based shareholders.
The meeting was therefore adjourned until 6 June 2006 at 16:00 (London time)
17:00 (South Africa time) when it will reconvene at Cazenove & Co., First Floor
Auditorium, 20 Moorgate, London EC2R 6DA to consider resolutions 9 and 10.
Proxies lodged with the transfer secretaries by members of the Company will
continue to be valid in respect of resolutions 9 and 10 at the adjourned
meeting. Any member wanting to amend or withdraw a proxy should contact the
transfer secretaries.
