Change to the board of directors
In compliance with section 3.59 of the JSE Limited"s Listings Requirements and
further to our announcement dated 12 April 2006, in which shareholders were
advised that pursuant to the approval of the funding of the Enaleni Black
Economic Empowerment Transaction by the Industrial Development Corporation ("the
IDC"), an announcement would be made regarding the appointment of an additional
non-executive director, shareholders are now advised that Elizabeth Nomini Rapoo
has been appointed to the board as a non-executive director, with effect from 2
May 2006. Nomini is a commercial lawyer with extensive drafting experience in
commercial contracts, legislation, as well as commercial litigation experience.
She also has specific expertise in corporate governance and is currently the
Group Company Secretary for the IDC.
