CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Shareholders are referred to the announcement published on SENS on 17 May 2006,
notifying them that Metallon Ventures (Pty) Limited ("Metallon") had disposed of
its remaining interest in Basil Read. In the regard, Mr Reve and Ms Maliza, the
two Metallon representatives have resigned from the board with effect from 19
May 2006. Following these resignations, the board is considering the
appointment of additional directors and shareholders will be advised of this in
due course.
