NO CHANGE STATEMENT, NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETINGS AND CHANGE OF REGISTERED

Shareholders are advised that the Pick `n Pay and Pikwik annual financial
statements for the year ended 28 February 2006 were posted to shareholders on 24
May 2006, and contain no modifications to the reviewed results which were
published on 20 April 2006. KPMG Inc. has now completed their audit of the
results and the annual financial statements of Pick `n Pay and Pikwik, which
unqualified reports are available for inspection at the registered office of the
Companies.
NOTICE OF THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETINGS
The notice of the annual general meetings were posted to shareholders on 24 May
2006 with the annual report and notice is hereby given that the annual general
meetings of Pick `n Pay and Pikwik will be held at 09h00 and 09h30,
respectively, on Thursday, 15 June 2006 in the conference center of our new
registered office Pick `n Pay Office Park, 101 Rosmead Avenue, Kenilworth, Cape
Town, 7708, to transact business as stated in the notices of the annual general
meetings.
CHANGE OF REGISTERED OFFICE
Notice is also given for a change to the registered office of Pick `n Pay and
Pikwik, effective 1 June 2006. The new registered office is:
