IMPLEMENTATION OF SCHEME OF ARRANGEMENT AND TERMINATION OF LISTING OF L.A. GROUP
L.A. Group shareholders are reminded that all conditions precedent which were
required to be fulfilled in order for the implementation of the scheme of
arrangement in terms of Section 311 of the Companies Act (act 61 of 1973), as
amended have been fulfilled and accordingly all salient dates previously
announced remain in force. Accordingly, the scheme consideration record date
and the election record date is Friday, 26 May 2006 and the scheme operative
date is Monday, 29 May 2006.
