APPOINTMENT OF CHAIRMAN
In compliance with rule 3.59 of the Listing Requirements of the JSE Limited, the
following information is disclosed:
As part of the Group"s process of transformation, Allan Mansfield has
voluntarily stepped down as non-executive Chairman of the Board, with effect
from 30 June 2006. The Board is pleased to advise that Dr Dudu Kunene has been
appointed as non-executive Chairman of the Board, with effect from 1 July 2006,
when he will relinquish his executive duties. Allan Mansfield will continue to
serve as a non-executive director and serve on the various Board committees of
which he is a member.
