NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR RESIGNS FROM THE BOARD
Johannesburg, 2 June 2006. Harmony Gold Mining Company Limited (NASDAQ, NYSE:
HMY JSE: HAR) today announced that Nolitha Fakude has resigned from its Board as
non-executive director.
Nolitha joined the Harmony Board three years ago and served on the Sustainable
Development Committee and the Empowerment Committee.
"It was a privilege to have Nolitha as a non-executive director of Harmony.
Although Nolitha"s executive role is keeping her very busy at the moment, we
will definitely continue our good work relationship with her" Bernard Swanepoel
