CHANGE IN DIRECTORATE
Due to the prolonged illness of Metropolitan"s Chairman, Mr Eric Molobi, the
Board of directors of the Company has appointed a current non-executive
director, Mr MJN Njeke, as acting Chairman to the Board of directors of
Metropolitan with effect from 30 May 2006.
Prof W P Esterhuyse, a non-executive director of Metropolitan since 1991, has
retired from the Board of directors of Metropolitan with effect from 30 May
2006.
