DECLARED DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT ON TELKOM SA LIMITED ENHANCED DIVIDEND SECURITIES

With reference to the dividend announcement dated 5 June 2006, the Directors of
Telkom SA Limited have declared an interim ordinary dividend of 500 cents per
ordinary share and a Special dividend of 400 cents per share payable on Friday,
14 July 2006 to ordinary shareholders recorded in the books of the company at
the close of business on Friday, 7 July 2006.
Accordingly, the warrant holders of the Enhanced Dividend Securities, TKGIDA,
will receive a Telkom SA Limited dividend of 500 cents per security and a
Special dividend of 400 cents per security payable simultaneously on Friday, 14
July 2006 in terms of the Cession clause incorporated in the Supplement between
the holders and Investec Bank Limited. The last day to trade ("cum" the
dividend) in order to participate in the dividend will be Friday, 30 June 2006.
TKGIDA Enhanced Dividend Securities will commence trading "ex" the dividend from
the commencement of business on Monday, 3 July 2006, and the record date will be
Friday, 7 July 2006.
