RESULTS OF A R100 MILLION PRIVATE PLACEMENT OF NON REDEEMABLE, NON-
CUMULATIVE, NON-PARTICIPATING PREFERENCE SHARES ("PREFERENCE SHARES")
1. INTRODUCTION
Shareholders are referred to the announcement dated 15 May 2006
wherein they were advised that the board of directors of Sasfin
Holdings had resolved to issue a further tranche of preference shares
in terms of a private placement of such preference shares with
selected investors. These preference shares will be of the same
class, will trade under the same share code (SFNP) and will rank pari
passu in all respects with existing preference shares.
2. RESULTS OF THE PRIVATE PLACEMENT
Sasfin Holdings is pleased to announce that 905 000 preference shares
at a value of R100 002 500 were placed with investors at an issue
price of R110.50 per preference share at an effective preference
dividend rate of 70% of prime.
3. LISTING ON THE JSE LIMITED ("JSE")
The JSE has granted Sasfin Holdings a listing of the 905 000
additional preference shares in the Specialist Securities -
"Preference Shares" sector with effect from Friday, 9 June 2006. The
preference shares will be allotted and issued against receipt of
payment from the investors who applied for preference shares or their
Central Securities Depository Participants on 9 June 2006.
