DIVIDEND DISTRIBUTION ANNOUNCEMENT IN RELATION TO THE BIL SHARE INSTALMENT
Notice is hereby given that the dividend declaration amount for BILLITON PLC
(BIL) relating to the Share Instalment will be announced at a later date. The
currency conversion rate will be announced by the company on Monday 21 August
2006.
The last day to trade cum dividend is Friday, 01 September 2006. The Share
Instalment will commence trading ex dividend from Monday, 4 September 2006; the
record date will be Friday, 08 September 2006 and payment date Wednesday, 27
September 2006.
