TRADING STATEMENT
Johncom has adopted International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and will
report its audited financial results for the year ended 31 March 2006 on that
basis.
Attributable and headline earnings per share for the comparative year ended 31
March 2005 are expected to be restated to 364 and 361 cents respectively.
In terms of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, shareholders are
advised that, for the year ended 31 March 2006, the company"s attributable and
headline earnings per share are expected to be between 30% and 40% higher than
the previous financial year (restated).
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been
reviewed or reported on by the company"s auditors.
Johncom"s audited financial results for the year ended 31 March 2006 are
scheduled to be announced on Thursday 22 June 2006.
