SPECIFIC ISSUE OF 424,446 SHARES FOR CASH AND CHANGE OF YEAR END
Imara Corporate Finance South Africa (Pty) Limited is authorised to announce
that the directors of Conafex have agreed to a specific issue of 424,446 new
ordinary shares of US$1.50 each, for cash of US$2.25 per share, to two new
investors in order to raise new capital amounting to US$955,000 to continue the
Company"s investment strategy in Southern Africa.
The issue is subject to the approval of Conafex shareholders at an Extraordinary
General Meeting and to the approval of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange and the JSE
Limited.
At the same time, the Company will take the opportunity to change its financial
year-end from 31st August to 30th September and to consequently change the date
of its Annual General Meeting from the last Friday in February to the last
Friday in March.
