DECLARATION OF INTEREST ON UNSECURED, COMPULSORILY CONVERTIBLE DEBENTURES
Notice is hereby given that debenture interest for the period 20 January 2006 to
19 July 2006 of 2.69221 cents per unsecured, compulsorily convertible debenture
("the debentures") will be paid to debenture holders recorded in the register of
Excellerate at the close of business on Friday, 14 July 2006 ("the record
date"). Payment will be made on Thursday, 20 July 2006 ("the pay date"). The
interest rate applicable is the six month JIBAR as quoted from time to time by
Nedbank Limited, plus 2.75 percentage points.
The last date to trade cum interest will be Friday, 7 July 2006 and trading will
commence ex interest on Monday, 10 July 2006. Debenture certificates may not be
dematerialised or rematerialised between Monday, 10 July 2006 and Friday, 14
July 2006, both days inclusive. In respect of dematerialised debenture holders,
interest will be transferred to the Central Securities Depository Participant
accounts/broker accounts on the pay date. Certificated debenture holders"
interest cheques will be posted on or about the pay date.
