REPORT ON PROCEEDINGS AT ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING AND CONFIRMATION OF PAYMENT
DATES FOR THE CAPITAL DISTRIBUTION
At the eleventh (11th) annual general meeting of the shareholders of AFGRI held
today, Friday, 23 June 2006 at 10am, the requisite majority of shareholders
approved all of the ordinary resolutions and the special resolution proposed in
the notice to shareholders dated 16 May 2006.
Shareholders are advised that in accordance with the STRATE settlement
procedures, the following dates will apply to the capital distribution approved
by the shareholders:
Last day to trade cum distribution Friday, 30 June 2006
Trading ex distribution commences Monday, 3 July 2006
Record date Friday, 7 July 2006
Distribution payment date Monday, 10 July 2006
There will be no dematerialisation or rematerialisation of AFGRI share
certificates between Monday, 3 July 2006 and Friday, 7 July 2006, both dates
inclusive.
