DECLARED FINAL AND SPECIAL DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT ON REMGRO LIMITED ENHANCED
DIVIDEND SECURITIES - ("REMIDB")
With reference to the final and special dividend announcement, the Directors of
Remgro Limited have declared a final dividend of 228 cents and a special
dividend of 400 cents per ordinary share payable on Monday, 21 August 2006 to
ordinary shareholders recorded in the books of the company at the close of
business on Friday 18 August 2006.
Accordingly, the warrant holders of the Enhanced Dividend Securities, REMIDB,
will receive a Remgro Limited final dividend of 228 cents and a special dividend
of 400 cents per security payable simultaneously on Monday, 21 August 2006, in
terms of the Cession clause incorporated in the Supplement between the holders
and Investec Bank Limited. The last day to trade ("cum" the dividend) in order
to participate in the dividend will be Friday, 11 August 2006.
REMIDB Enhanced Dividend Securities will commence trading "ex" the dividend from
the commencement of business on Monday 14 August 2006, and the record date will
be Friday, 18 August 2005.
