Mr. Wackrill has purchased 24 940 ordinary shares, which constitute
approximately 0.03% of total issued ordinary shares of the Company. In terms of
a share incentive scheme founded in 2000, the Company acquired shares on behalf
of participants of the scheme. The scheme was cancelled and never implemented
and the shares were never transferred to the individuals, although fully paid
for by the original participants (at the existing market price of R8.03 per
share at the date of the transactions). The shares have now been transferred to
their rightful owners, with Mr. Wackrill being one of them.
In line with Metrofile Holdings corporate governance principles and in terms of
Rule 3.66 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE, prior clearance to deal in
the above securities has been obtained from the Chairman of the Remuneration
Committee of the Company and Chairman of the Audit Committee.
The above trade was completed outside of a closed period.
