Enaleni Top executive joins Enaleni team

Enaleni Pharmaceuticals has named Andy Hall as its new chief financial officer,
freeing present CFO Stan Whitfield to focus on acquisitions and business
development. Stan has been appointed commercial director and will remain as an
executive director of the company.
"Enaleni, because of substantial growth, is aiming to develop its executive
resources," said the company"s chief executive, Trevor Edwards. "The company
has appointed Andy Hall as its new CFO to expand the financial management of the
group. Stan Whitfield will now be able to focus his considerable financial
expertise on our continuing expansion drive. Stan has excellent experience in
the acquisition of owner-managed businesses which experience we will call on to
develop the Enaleni group."
Hall, who is a chartered accountant with degrees in pharmacy and commerce, joins
Enaleni today after more than 12 years at "big four" accounting firm Ernst &
Young. His most recent position was partner in charge of health sciences where
he served companies in the pharmaceutical, retail and consumer products
industries, including numerous large JSE-listed entities.
The 43-year-old from Johannesburg, who has been a partner with E&Y since 2000,
spent two years in retail pharmacy and five years in sales and marketing at
international pharmaceutical company Pfizer before qualifying as a chartered
accountant with E&Y.
Edwards said: "We head-hunted Andy. After an extensive search of the top
executives in the FMCG and pharmaceuticals industries to locate and appoint the
right person, we"ve found our man. He is highly motivated, appropriately
qualified and has experience in the relevant areas of pharmaceuticals and
finance."
