TIWHEEL RESTRUCTURING
The board of directors of Tiwheel ("the board"), has resolved to restructure the
group by the unbundling of the southern African based retail business, Tiger
Wheel & Tyre (Proprietary) Limited, and the wholesale wheel and tyre businesses
in the United Kingdom and South Africa, and to list these as a separate entity
on the JSE Limited. The timing and implementation is being evaluated, but is
envisaged to occur prior to June 2007. Tiwheel will continue as a focussed
global wheel manufacturing business. The unbundling and the subsequent listing
will be subject to all applicable shareholder and regulatory approvals and
further details will be released to shareholders after the announcement of
Tiwheel"s audited results for the year ended 30 June 2006 during September 2006.
