STERLING DIVIDEND RATE
The Board of Lonmin Plc has previously announced an interim dividend of 45 cents
per share payable on 4 August 2006 in sterling to UK shareholders calculated at
the US dollar to sterling exchange rate on 14 July 2006 and in dollars to all
overseas shareholders other than those on the South African branch register.
The US dollar to sterling exchange rate on 14 July 2006 is $1.8406/GBP1 and
accordingly the sterling dividend payable is 24.45 pence per share.
