such in terms of the Collective Investment Schemes Control Act, 45 of 2002 (the
"Act")

DISTRIBUTION ANNOUNCEMENT
The manager and trustees of the Satrix Collective Investment Scheme (being
Satrix Managers (Proprietary) Limited and ABSA Bank Limited respectively) have
resolved to make a distribution to holders of Satrix SWIX TOP 40 securities
recorded in the register in respect of the quarter ended 30 June 2006. This
distribution will:
- be an amount of 0.93 cents (naught point nine three cents) (R0.093) per
Satrix SWIX TOP 40 security;
- constituted by 0.93 cents in respect of dividends;
- be made to all holders of Satrix SWIX TOP 40 securities recorded in the
register on 30 June 2006;
- be effected on 25 July 2006.
For the for the period ended 30 June 2006, the Satrix SWIX TOP 40 securities had
a net unaudited Total Expense Ratio (TER) of 22 basis points (0,22%).
