"Act")

DISTRIBUTION ANNOUNCEMENT
The manager and trustees of the Satrix Collective Investment Scheme (being
Satrix Managers (Proprietary) Limited and ABSA Bank Limited respectively) have
resolved to make a distribution to holders of Satrix FINI securities recorded in
the register in respect of the quarter ended 30 June 2006. This distribution
will:
- be an amount of 8.96 cents (eight point nine six cents) (R0.0896) per
Satrix FINI security;
- constituted by 8.96 cents in respect of dividends;
- be made to all holders of Satrix FINI securities recorded in the register
on 30 June 2006;
- be effected on 25 July 2006.
For the six months ended 30 June 2006, the Satrix Fini securities had a net
unaudited Total Expense Ratio (TER) of 19,5 basis points (0,195%).
