SALIENT DATES ANNOUNCEMENT
1. INTRODUCTION
Schamin shareholders are referred to the announcement dated 28 February
2006 dealing with:
1.1 the related party acquisition by Schamin of certain assets and
liabilities of Transbor (Proprietary) Limited and Geosearch
International Limited;
1.2 the increase in the authorised share capital of the company from 160
000 000 ordinary shares of one cent each to 260 000 000 ordinary
shares of one cent each;
1.3 the specific issue of up to a maximum 15 000 000 shares at an issue
price of 525 cents per share to entity/ies directly or indirectly
controlled and/or managed by Sir Sam Jonah;
1.4 the reconstitution of the board of directors; and
1.5 amendments to the share incentive scheme of the company,
collectively referred to as "the transactions".
2. SALIENT DATES AND TIMES
The transactions circular has been approved by the JSE Limited, and will be
posted to shareholders today. The table below sets out the salient dates
pertaining to the transaction:
